The X Factor judge has given his two cents on the singers' futures...
Oosh. Louis Walsh definitely has his claws out right now.
The X Factor judge, 64, has a warning for the Little Mix girls – and some pretty scathing words for ex-One Direction singer Zayn Malik.
As we all know, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall were put together on The X Factor back in 2011.
They’ve had a huge amount of success as Little Mix, and Louis thinks this will continue… for a while.
He tells Digital Spy: ‘I think they have had some really good pop songs. I think they will last as long as they get on well. Until someone marries a footballer!
‘Honestly, that’s the problem! They came from X Factor. They are like One Direction. And Olly Murs. You don’t have to win the show.’
Hmm. Now, one of the ladies actually is planning a wedding. Jesy, 25, is currently engaged to Rixton singer Jake Roche.
Admittedly, Jake’s not a footballer. But she probably still won’t appreciate the suggestion that a marriage could bring down the group…
Anyway, moving onto Zayn. Louis seems to have mocked reports that the 23-year-old – who quit 1D last year – is working on a TV drama.
According to The Sun, he’s set to join the team behind Entourage to executive produce a programme about a boy band.
Despite there being no word on whether Zayn will actually appear on screen, Louis says: ‘I don’t know what’s going to happen with Zayn. Zayn doesn’t talk.
‘What’s he going to do on a TV show? You’ve got to talk! He doesn’t like crowds. He might not go on!’
Hmmm. This appears to be a jibe at Zayn’s no-show at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in June, which he later explained was due to anxiety.
