One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson has shared the first picture of his son Freddie – and oh my, what a cutie.
In a black and white photo posted to the singer’s Instagram page and his Twitter account, Louis can be seen cuddling his newborn baby, accompanied by the caption, ‘Meet my little lad, Freddie.’
He then followed up with another tweet that simply read ‘Freddie Tommo’, which indicates that his son will be taking on his famous surname.
News of the 24 year-old’s baby being born came towards the end of last week, and he has thanked 1D’s dedicated fans on Twitter for their well-wishes and support.
He announced, ‘I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday 🙂 He is healthy and pretty amazing 🙂 I’m very happy!!’
This came after speculation of the birth had been rife on Twitter.
A woman purporting to be Briana’s grandma Tweeted: ‘Louis just let Ur heart dance. U now have another you. A gift that will want to be just like YOU.
‘Love him & my young grandchild that gave him to you. LET her know she’s special.
‘She just wanted to love U not even knowing who U were or your profile Ur & reputation. Be free & just LIVE. It’s simple. Not complex.
‘Be free with love of yourself & Ur child that will want to be just like U. That is, If U let him. He’ll be watching all U do.’
As expected, excited 1D lovers were dying to know exactly what was going on, before Louis confirmed the happy news.
It was first revealed that Louis was becoming a father in July, with the little one’s due date believed to be this month.

A mutual friend of the pair has previously said that while he and Briana aren’t in a relationship, the singer will be a ‘hands-on dad’.
1D heartthrob Liam Payne’s also backed Louis up on this one, telling Magic Radio in summer: ‘Obviously I was a bit shocked but he’s taken super well to it.
‘He’s very excited with what’s going on with him at the moment and I feel that stuff like that happens sometimes… He’s taking it very seriously.’
