It’s safe to say that Little Mix made quite an impact on last weekend’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall performed a country version of their #1 single Black Magic – and it got Twitter going crazy.
The majority of the comments were complimentary, with fans gushing on Twitter: ‘I really want the country version of Black Magic,’ and: ‘@LittleMix definitely know how to entertain, every time they perform Black Magic its different from the last [sic].’
But unfortunately, some of the feedback was a little less positive.
Noting that the ladies were (of course) putting on Deep South accents, one viewer wrote: ‘After watching last nights Saturday Night Takeaway it’s obvious that Little Mix should never EVER sing in Southern American accents.’ Eek.
Other messages included: ‘I like little mix but their performance on Saturday Night Takeaway was tragic,’ and: ‘I know it was for a bitta banter and all but that performance on Saturday Night Takeaway was not a smart career move.’
Hmm. Well, WE thought the ladies were great. And the show was certainly a lot of fun.
And whatever people thought, there’s no denying that LM looked incredible in their sexy saloon outfits.
They were all wearing colourful corset dresses, which featured tasselled skirts and embellished detailing. These had been paired with racy garters, fishnet tights and stockings. Miaow.
Leigh-Anne, 24, gave us an Instagram close-up of her co-ordinated red eye make-up, while 23-year-old Jade showed us her colour-popping blue shadow.
Seriously smokin’. Watch Little Mix’s performance below…
