Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall were in the motherland over the weekend.
Yep. Little Mix’s Get Weird tour took them back to Newcastle, where they performed at the city’s Metro Radio Arena on Saturday night.
Of course, Perrie was keen to take a trip down memory lane – and she took bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock with her.
Perrie, 22, shared an Instagram snap of herself, Leigh and some of their crew chilling at South Shields beach, where she used to hang out in her younger days.
She captioned the image: ‘Took these crazy fools to South Shields beach today to show them how I got down back in the day.
‘Even though I’m hanging and extremely fragile…. I had the best day ever with the most amazing people in my life! #GetWeirdTourCrew.’
While Jade wasn’t in the snap, she wasn’t far from the girls’ mind.
Leigh-Anne, 24, uploaded a shot of herself and Perrie digging into a tasty takeaway, writing: ‘Thank you jade n pez for the best sausage and chips of my life.. You have to love the North! amazing day with this chick!’
However, there was one thing missing from both girls’ pictures – any mention of fourth LM lady Jesy Nelson.
Comments on Perrie’s snap included: ‘Where’s Jesy?’ and: ‘I love you but where is Jesy? I really really want to know.’
Similar comments appeared on Leigh’s image.
It’s understandable that Mixers are a little concerned about Jesy’s absence. It was only a couple of weeks ago that she pulled out of two dates in Belfast due to an undisclosed illness.
But everything seems to be A-okay in camp Jesy. Before Saturday’s performance, she wrote alongside a sultry selfie: ‘Second show in Newcastle all glam’d by my glam fam @adamburrell and @nickpetershair #hawaythelads #getweirdtour.’
Maybe she just didn’t fancy the beach, eh?!
