A lot of Little Mix fans will be feeling pretty upset right now.
Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall are currently on the road for their Get Weird tour, but have just been forced to cancelled two dates.
The girls were due to perform both a matinee and evening show in Belfast today. However, 24-year-old Jesy has been taken ill.
They made their announcement on Twitter earlier this afternoon, posting a photo of an iPhone note alongside the caption: ‘A message from Little Mix #GetWeirdTourBelfast LM HQ x.’
The message read: ‘Little Mix have unfortunately had to cancel both of their Arena shows in Belfast today.
‘Sadly Jesy is unwell and unable to sing, and as a result both the matinee and evening shows are cancelled. Little Mix would like to apologise to their fans.
‘Ticket holders should hold on to their tickets and await further news. LM HQ x
Thankfully for the ladies, the majority of their followers seemed sympathetic. In fact, they managed to get the hashtag #GetWellSoonJesy trending.
Tweets included: ‘I hope you are healthy and taking care of yourself, love you,’ and: ‘Oh noooo 🙁 #GetWellSoonJesy i hope she’s feeling top notch real soon x.’
But this isn’t the first time that Jesy’s been taken ill in recent months.
Back in November, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade headed to Japan for a promotional tour of their third album Get Weird, which she wasn’t able to attend due to an ear infection.
She explained that she’d been banned from flying by her doctor, Tweeting: ‘Hey guys unfortunately I have a bloody horrid ear infection that is not allowing me to fly and see you beautiful Japanese mixers.
‘I am so gutted that I’m not gonna be able to come over and see you guys again. I love you all very much & I can’t wait to see you again.’
Sending you lots of get well wishes, lady.
