The TOWIE star was evicted from the CBB house along with James Whale. And it appears to have had a huge effect on the house (and girlfriend Marnie Simpson)...
Celebrity Big Brother fans watched a double eviction on Friday night’s live show, with Lewis Bloor and James Whale coming last in the public vote.
Speaking to Emma Willis during his post-exit interview, the TOWIE star confessed that he had seen it coming. He revealed: ‘Sometimes you just pick up on things. Tonight was my time to go.’
But one person who certainly didn’t see it coming was his new girlfriend Marnie Simpson.
In emotional scenes, the Geordie Shore star could be seen breaking down in tears, before later having a tantrum in the diary room.
Oh, Marns 🙁
She vented: ‘I’m so angry that he’s gone. I’m out for revenge.’
‘I’m angry Lewis isn’t here, and I’m left with a bunch of people who shouldn’t be here.’
Lewis’s eviction means that both of this year’s in-house couples have been torn apart.
Of course, Stephen Bear’s controversial relationship with Chloe Khan was put on pause after she failed to receive enough votes.
And, apparently, the lack of luuuurve seems to have had a knock-on effect with viewers.
The Daily Star reports that the Channel 5 show received its lowest viewing figures of the series on Saturday. Yup, according to the publication, the episode that followed Lew’s exit pulled in 865,000 viewers, compared with the average 1.4million.
So it appears that it’s not only Marnie that’s missing that face, then.
Since returning to the ‘real world’, Lewis has broken his social media silence – and it seems that his new lady is still very much on his mind.
Giving her a shout-out on Twitter, the 26-year-old revealed that he’s ‘looking forward to supporting’ her.
