We’re feeling pretty sorry for Leigh-Anne Pinnock right now.
The Little Mix lady, 24, got caught up in an earthquake in Japan yesterday. And she looked more than a little terrified.
In a video uploaded to Instagram by the group’s make-up artist Adam Burrell, Leigh could be seen sheltering from the tremors in her Tokyo hotel.
She was grimacing as she stared into the camera, before appearing to look for reasurance from Adam.
In the background, a safety message played on a tannoy, blaring out the sentence: ‘This hotel has been constructed for maximum safety against earthquakes. For your safety, please stay in your room.’
Eep. Not exactly what you want to hear, is it?!
Understandably, fans were worried about Leigh-Anne’s safety. Comments included: ‘Poor Leigh looks so scared. Stay safe guys,’ ‘omg omg stay safe,’ and: ‘stay safe leigh @leigh_love_life hope you’ll be fine there. i’ll make sure you and the girls are in my prayers tonight [sic].’
But thankfully, she seems to have come away from the incident unharmed. Phew.
Little Mix are in Japan on the second leg of their Get Weird tour, which will also see them take to the stage in the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
They’ve already performed across the UK and Europe, and are set to return with a gig at London’s Wembley Arena in June.
Let’s hope they stay away from any earthquakes until then, eh?!
