Her bandmates are forced to perform as a three after the 25-year-old endures a painful accident
Little Mix were forced to perform as a trio in California last night, after Leigh-Anne Pinnock suffered a nasty injury.
According to Jade Thirlwall, the 25-year-old received painful burns to her legs shortly before the group took to the stage at Anaheim’s Honda Center.
In a clip recorded by a fan, she explained to the crowd: ‘We are Little Mix minus one.
‘Our poor Leigh-Leigh, just before we came on tonight, she spilt boiling water on her and scolded herself so unfortunately she might not be joining us, she’s with the paramedics, she might come on later, we’ll see.’
Happily, the audience did get a glimpse of Leigh. Being the trooper she is, she came out to perform Shout Out To My Ex with her bandmates.
In fact, the only hint that she was in pain was the fact that she had bandages wrapped around both thighs.
One impressed fan Tweeted: ‘Miss Leigh Anne burnt her legs with scalding hot water and still came out to perform? Legend. #LittleMixAnaheim.’
Others wrote: ‘Leigh anne dropped hot water on her legs before the show but still managed to come out for one song I LOVE HER WITH ALL My HEART,’ and: ‘Thanks for being so professional, you deserve the world Leigh-Anne💙 We love you [sic].’
Despite the lack of Leigh-Anne, it’s clear that LM’s show still still went down a storm.
The girls – who are supporting Ariana Grande on her Dangerous Woman tour – later received messages such as: ‘@ArianaGrande @LittleMix thank you for the amazing show in Anaheim tonight, I love you so much 😘,’ and: ‘Little mix was amazing tonight!!!!!! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️ @littlemix #Anaheim [sic].’
Aw. Get well soon, Leigh.
