Lea Michele has taken to Twitter for the second time to reassure her fans that she is coping with the support of her friends, nearly three weeks on from the death of her Glee co-star boyfriend Cory Monteith.
The 26-year-old wrote to her 3.6 million followers last night: “Spending the day surrounded by great friends.. Hope you all are having a good day.. Sending lots of love to you all..”, following Lea making her first outing in public since Cory passed away last month.
This is the second time the TV actress has tweeted since losing her on/off screen boyfriend-of-a-year, to a lethal mix of heroin and alcohol. Lea also thanked her fans for their support on Monday, sharing a photo of her and Cory together with the caption: “Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.”
It’s now been revealed that Lea will return to the Glee next month to shoot the first three episodes of season five, one of which will be a tribute to the show’s late star, who played Finn Hudson. The hit US TV show is then set to go on a hiatus for a few months while writers and producers work out how to move it on without him.
