Lea Michele reassured fans she was back on the road to recovery following the tragic death of her co-star boyfriend Cory Monteith by posting Instagram photos of herself smiling and laughing with friends as she prepared for a photoshoot.
The Glee star, who bravely attended the Teen Choice Awards earlier this month and tearfully dedicated her Best Actress award to Cory, has thrown herself back in to work proving to the world she is just about coping since the Canadian star sadly died from a drug overdose.
Surrounding herself with close pals for support, Lea took to Twitter to share candid photos of herself indulging in some pampering before the 26-year-old was photographed for her upcoming book, Brunette Ambition.
“Beautiful shoot w/ my glam family… I love them so much!” she tweeted alongside four sepia snaps of herself, stylist Estee Standley, hairdresser Mark Townsend and make-up artist Melanie Inglessis.
“Such a sweet TT.. You guys are the best.. Thank you for making me smile:) Love you all,” added Lea later on.
The actress, who plays Rachel Berry in the hit musical TV show, has posted memories, photos and messages of thanks to her 3.6 million followers in recent weeks and is set to return to Glee next month to shoot the first three episodes of season five.
Lea has also been back in the studio to record her first song for Glee‘s Cory Monteith tribute episode, due to air this autumn.
It sure looks like work is helping the actress out. We’re just glad to see her smiling again.
