Viewers across the country watched on as she made one last attempt to impress the judges, going head-to-head in a dramatic sing-off against Che Chesterman, only to be sent home.
But not before she’d almost suffered a panic attack, and broken down in tears. We really felt for Rita Ora‘s act.

Now, the 26-year-old has revealed exactly how she feels about the final decision.
After breaking down in tears just moments before she was due to take the stage and sing, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini decided to vote in favour of Che, explaining that she was worried about Lauren’s emotional state.
It eventually went to deadlock, with Simon Cowell deciding to leave it up to the public vote.
But Lauren, on reflection, feels that Cheryl’s reasoning was quite unfair.
Speaking to the Radio Times, she explains: ‘I’ve come this far. It’s been two months of filming and that’s never happened. I was in the bottom two last week. I had a bad week, I was sick, I was up against Che, I’d just had enough to be honest.’
She went on: ‘Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But as you can see, the proof’s been on the TV, that’s never happened before.’
Lauren also went on to add that she believes she would have handled the pressure just fine.
Well, she’ll be back for the final show anyway, taking part in the group ensemble and the X Factor tour.
