As if breaking the internet with her sell-out lip kit collection wasn’t enough, Kylie Jenner has only gone and done it again.
Taking on a series of striking poses with photographer Steven Klein, the youngest of the Kardashian clan takes on a double page spread in the December/January issue of Interview Magazine.
The 18-year-old sure wants to make a statement in these stand-out shots, donning a mix of PVC and latex pieces.
The most striking shot, which takes the cover, sees Kylie modeling alongside a male co-star and has the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star sporting a metallic gold basque, which appears to be made from liquid latex.
Another image which is sure to grab attention has the beauty guru rocking some leather chaps, showing off her famous ass-et with a daring cut-out section.
Bold moves, miss.
Kylie Jenner took to Instagram to share her favourite images, telling of how the creative team used tape to achieve her extreme doll-like look. She said: ‘Plastic doll vibes 😉 pulling my face back with tape all day was much worth it for this amazing art cover of @interviewmag with @stevenkleinstudio & #karltempler so dope!!!!’
True to her style, KJ rocks a series of dramatic wigs to further play on the theme, including a bouffant auburn colourway as well as her signature jet black shade.
In contrast to the stylised shoot, Kylie’s accompanying interview is real and candid. The teenage star, who has lived out half of her life in front of the cameras, gets very honest about what this has really meant for her.
She admits: ‘I’m just trying to not lose myself through this process, because I feel like I’ve already lost parts of me, like, my youth.’
Kylie goes on: ‘I feel like I’m going to look back and be like, “Damn, I wish I could’ve just been a kid and done normal teen – age stuff that my friends get to do.” But it also is a blessing.’
The beauty entrepreneur also spoke out about being plagued by anxiety, revealing: ‘I wake up every morning with the worst anxiety. I don’t know why. I have, like, a problem.’
And it seems that her extreme level of fame is behind it: ‘I wake up every morning at, like, seven or eight because I think that there’s a bad story about me, and I have to check. My worst fear is waking up and finding something bad about me on the Internet.’
Perhaps the most surprising revelation came with Kylie insisting that she really doesn’t like wearing make-up. The star hit headlines after her lipstick collection sold out within minutes, crashing the website just moments after it went live, and the social media mogul is also famous for sharing her pampering tips on her app.
She told the publication that things would be very different if she wasn’t famous: ‘I would probably just never dress up… I would never wear makeup, because I honestly hate wearing makeup. Lately, I’ve just been so over it.
‘I feel like I’m way too young to wear such heavy makeup all the time. It’s just bad for your skin, but I’m always doing photo shoots or red carpets and events, so I just obviously want to look good.’
