Kylie Jenner has finally explained why Caitlyn Jenner was missed off the invite list to her graduation party.
At the time, the fact that her dad wasn’t at the family party caused huge rifts, as we saw on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
‘I was so disappointed in everybody’, Caitlyn told Kris. ‘For 15 years of my life I carpooled kids every day – some days I would spend three or four hours a day in the car – a slap in the face when you don’t even get invited to their graduation.’
Momager Kris, who organised the party, attempted to placate the situation, replying: ‘Listen, usually people that get a divorce don’t do everything together. It wasn’t malicious.’
And now, 18-year-old Kylie has given her side of the story via a new blog post on her website. claiming that she ‘respected [her] mum’s decision’ all the way.
‘Some people made a big deal about the fact that my dad wasn’t included in that graduation party my mom threw for Kendall and I, and I did miss Caitlyn being there’, she wrote.
Admitting that the former Olympain was ‘a huge part’ of her school life and ‘would drive me 45 mins to and from every day’, Kylie continued to justify why her dad didn’t make the cut.
‘[I wish she] could have been there’, she said. ‘[But] it’s understandable why she wasn’t [at the party] and I respected my mom’s decision about it.’
It’s clear that all is now well in camp Kylie and Caitlyn. Earlier this week, the dad-daughter duo were seen having a day out together, with Kylie rocking a fierce blue lip in support of anti-bullying day.
No grudges here…
