Khloe Kardashian has revealed just how upsetting it was to hear jibes about her body shape.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians lady had always felt good about her looks – until her family’s reality show began airing back in 2007.
After that, she (upsettingly) started identifying as the ‘fat, funny’ sister. And while there’s no doubt that Khloe’s witty one-liners are HI-larious, the fact she considered herself overweight is pretty awful.
Khloe tells PEOPLE: ‘Before the show started, I thought I was in good shape, but I guess not good enough for Hollywood’s eyes.
‘I didn’t really realise that I was “the fat sister”, if you will, until I went on TV. And then the media started saying that about me. And if you hear something so many times you kinda start to believe it.
‘I just thought: “Okay, that’s my role.” I started saying it before other people did. I was like: “Okay, I’m the fat, funny sister.”‘ Oh, Khloe :(.
Over the past couple of years, Khloe, 31, has become quite a gym bunny.
She often posts work-out Instagram snaps and this week shared a video on her app of herself during a hardcore exercise session.
This was just proof of how much of a dedicated gym-goer she is, considering she’s spent the majority of the past few weeks by her estranged husband Lamar Odom’s bedside.
The ex-basketball pro was hospitalised after collapsing in Las Vegas earlier this month and is currently being treated in LA.

But Khloe insists that it wasn’t other people’s opinions of her size that encouraged her to step up her fitness regime. In fact, they did the total opposite.
“I let it take ownership of me, and I didn’t feel motivated to change that perception,’ she adds.
‘In reality I wasn’t fat; I wasn’t obese. But I let society make me believe that I was.’
Screw the haters, Khlo! We think you looked amazing then AND now.
