Kate Upton looked oh-so-elegant at the launch of her latest Sports Illustrated cover in New York last night, firmly holding onto her place as our ultimate girl crush.
The model of the moment rocked a simple satin strapless dress in on-trend oxblood and pinned her famous blonde locks into a chic updo.
Kate braved the bitter Antarctic weather for the photo shoot in the US mag and wears just a pair of tiny white bikini bottoms and a white fur-lined jacket on the cover. She’s a braver woman than us!
She told The Today Show: “It was freezing. I’m from Florida, so it wasn’t easy for me. When I came back, I was losing my hearing and eyesight. My body was shutting down because it was working so hard to keep me warm.”
This is why it’s a good idea to wear a top…
Kate joins Elle Macpherson and Tyra Banks as one of the few models to appear on the cover more than once.
We’re currently obsessed with her new campaign for Accessorize – check it out here. (She’s fully clothed, don’t worry). RM
