Kate Moss And The Brits Bowie Moment We’ll Never Forget

Kate Moss turning up to the Brits 2014 last night was surprise enough in itself. But what she wore as she took to the stage to accept longtime pal David Bowie’s award was, quite frankly, the coolest thing ever.

Being too cool to attend such an event himself, the legendary performer sent his supermodel BFF to London’s O2 arena to pick up his Best Male Solo Artist award on his behalf.

Strutting onto the stage in Bowie’s ACTUAL Ziggy Stardust jumpsuit (we know, amazing right?!), designed by Kansai Yamamoto and first worn during his 1972 Rainbow Concert, Ms Moss took vintage fashion to the next level with her insanely cool Brits get-up.

Donated by the V&A museum and reportedly having been reduced by two inches to fit Kate’s curves like a glove, Bowie’s ‘rabbit costume’ looked all kinds of amazing paired with diamond drop earrings, opaque tights and killer sky-high shoe boots. Talk about a 21st-century glamover!

Even better, the 40-year-old style icon even said a few words on behalf of her winner pal, reading out Bowie’s carefully scripted acceptance speech in front of thousands. Very un-Moss-like…

Here’s to Kate Moss at the Brits becoming an annual event! Too cool.
