The Duchess of Cambridge, who is due to give birth to her first child any day now, is set to follow in William’s late mother Princess Diana‘s footsteps – who famously took a 9-month-old Will to Australia with her and Prince Charles back in 1983 – by whisking her little one off for a holiday with her and her husband.
“The trip is planned for Australia and New Zealand,” an insider told Us Weekly. First the royal baby gets offered an official royal title, and now it gets a cross-continent tour of Oz?! Sigh. Why weren’t we born into the royal family…
The world’s press is currently on tenterhooks as everyone waits to see when Kate’s tiny little arrival will be welcomed into the world – although her official due date is July 13 (THIS SATURDAY!), the Duchess herself noted to reporters in April: “Babies have their own agenda.”
We just hope this one is good at time-keeping, as we cannot wait for him/her to arrive.
