Kate Middleton will visit the Lake District tomorrow to attend a Scouts training day for adult volunteers.
The Duchess Of Cambridge – who’s almost six months pregnant – will try out tree climbing, outdoor cooking and fire lighting as part of the event (and we’re really hoping she sports one of those stripy neck ties).
Kate has been volunteering for the Scouts near her home in Anglesey since last January, so we’ve no doubt she’s a pro when it comes to cooking baked beans and singing round a campfire.
The event will take place at Newby Bridge in Cumbria where 24 volunteers will be trained to work with the young boys, aged 8-10.
It’s been a busy week for pregnant Kate – earlier this week she visited the offices for Child Bereavement UK with Prince William and yesterday she celebrated 150 years of the London Underground on a public visit with the Queen and Prince Phillip.
Here’s hoping she has time to put her feet up this weekend!
We’ll bring you all the news and pictures from Kate’s visit as it happens tomorrow… RM
