Kate Middleton Takes Up Yoga For Pre-Baby Workouts

Kate Middleton is said to have been practising yoga in order to get her body baby ready ahead of her royal birth, which is due to take place on July 13.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is expecting to give birth to her first child with husband Prince William at St Mary’s hospital this Saturday, has been busy making sure her body’s in top condition to deliver the much-awaited royal baby this weekend – which midwife-trained mum Carole might even be helping to welcome into the world!

According to MailOnline, 31-year-old Kate, who is said to have opted for a natural birth over a caesarean, has been receiving regular visits to her home at Kensington Palace from a yoga expert to help her prepare both physically and mentally.

The pregnant mum-to-be has also reportedly been using hypno-birthing techniques to help combat pain during labour, which YogaAt.com founder James Muthana says have become hugely popular with pregnant women.

“A few years ago if you were wealthy and busy you would have worked with a personal trainer but that’s all changed,” he told the Daily Star. “People want a more holistic approach to health and wellbeing that is not just about pumping iron and treadmills but also about taking time to slow down and switch off.”

It was recently reported that sister Pippa will be helping Kate with her post-birth fitness regime, so we’re not surprised to hear that the Duchess has been prepping her body the best way she can before the royal birth, too.

She’s going to be one fit baby mama!
