Kate Middleton attended a reception at Buckingham Palace for Olympic and Paralympic athletes last night, and revealed she’s started horse riding.
The Queen and Prince Phillip also attended the reception, along with the Duke of York, Princess Beatrice, and the Earl and Countess of Wessex, but Prince William was not there.
The Duchess of Cambridge revealed a new hobby of hers during a chat with para-equestrian rider Lee Pearson, who won his tenth gold medal during the London games.
Lee told the Evening Standard: “Kate Middleton told me she’s learning to ride so I offered to give her some lessons.
“She held my medals and said how heavy they were, and asked if me if I’d been riding all my life.”
Could Kate be the next Royal to win an Olympic medal in the equestrian events? With Lee and Zara Phillips helping her out, we wouldn’t bet against it.
Watch out, Rio! BS
