Kate Middleton Surprises Poppy Sellers… On The BUS

Kate Middleton and Prince William surprised busy commuters in London today as they popped by a tube station to meet poppy sellers.

Not only did the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge take a stroll through High Street Kensington Station, but they got the BUS from Kensington Palace. And the prize for coolest royals goes too… Sorry Harry.

Joining the Royal British Legion’s appeal in the capital, Kate and Wills are spending the day meeting and greeting servicemen and women who are busy selling poppies ahead of Remembrance Sunday this weekend.

Looking as gorgeous as ever, Kate kept things colour coordinated with her red L.K Bennett coat – a firm favourite here in the Look office.

The royal couple, who made their first joint appearance since Prince George’s christening, spent around 10 minutes chatting with shop vendors and volunteers at the tube station.

From there it was back on the 1960s Routemaster Bus to meet more poppy sellers across the city. Wills will then go on to the Royal Marsden hospital in Chelsea, where he’ll watch two live operations carried out by the world’s leading cancer-specialists.

Kate and William will reunite in public on Sunday, when they attend a Rememberance Day service at the Cenotaph in London.

It’s not clear whether they’ll be using public transport then though…
