Kate Middleton made the most of the weekend’s sunshine by heading out for a spot of shopping with some friends in North Norfolk.
But it wasn’t a new coat or maternity dresses that were on the royal’s shopping list this time. The pregnant Duchess Of Cambridge was hunting down some bargains for her new alleged home of Anmer Hall.
Kate was spotted at the Mews Antique Emporium, which sells furniture, books and collectibles, but left empty-handed.
According to the Daily Mail, she spent half an hour browsing the store’s 11 rooms, couldn’t find anything to her liking. A spokesperson at the shop said: “The Duchess looked radiant and well. She was happy to mingle with other customers and security was very low key. No purchases were made by the Duchess, although some were made by her friends.”
Oh, we hate it when that happens.
The Duchess, who’s now six months pregnant, wore a purple Ralph Lauren jumper, blue jeans, a brown gilet from The Really Wild Clothing Company and carried a grey leather Tod’s bag.
Kate and Wills will stay in Kensington Palace while they wait for the arrival of their baby in July, but it’s thought they’ll move to Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk soon after. The locals better get used to seeing her around! *Googles one-bedroom flats in Norfolk*
