Kate Middleton revealed more details about her baby on a royal visit to Scotland yesterday. The pregnant Duchess Of Cambridge gave us a clearer idea of when we can expect her little one to arrive, confirming that her due date is “around mid-July”.
She added: “But apparently babies have their own agenda…!”
The Duke and Duchess will spend the next couple of days in Scotland unveiling a new charity sports project, visiting a homeless shelter – and today they’ll be joined by Prince Charles for a tour around the Tamar Manoukian Outdoor Centre.
Kate spoke to well-wishers outside the Emirates Stadium and let slip a number of details about her baby. Aside from the very exciting (but still a little vague) due date, she also revealed her maternity leave will begin in June, and that she still hasn’t sorted the nursery, admitting: “We have got a lot to do!”
The Duchess, who’s now six months pregnant, told one fan that she’s found a new hobby since announcing her happy news. She said: “I’ve been trying to knit and I’m really bad. I should be asking for tips.”
So, have the royal couple decided on any names for their little one yet? Er, no. Kate said: “We have a shortlist for both [boy and girl] but it’s very difficult. My friends keep texting me names.”
Ooh, give us your number Kate – we’ve got a few ideas!
