Pregnant Kate Middleton will remain in hospital for several days while she recovers from acute morning sickness.
The Duchess Of Cambridge was forced to reveal the happy news about her pregnancy weeks earlier than planned as she was admitted to the King William VII hospital yesterday.
Kate was at her parents’ home in Bucklebury when she fell ill and Prince William decided to drive her to the Marylebone hospital, where she’s been put on a drip to rehydrate her.
The Palace has confirmed that Kate is less than twelve weeks pregnant, so it’s still very early days for the royal baby, which will be third in line to the throne!
A police guard currently stands outside the hospital, and Prince William was seen leaving at around 8pm last night. Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton is expected to visit shortly.
A statement from Clarence House said: “As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.”
We’re sending Kate, Wills and the tiny royal bump lots of love… get well soon, Duchess! RM
