Kate Middleton Expecting Royal Baby To Be A Girl, Says Uncle

Kate Middleton has so far kept quiet about the sex of her and Prince William‘s first royal baby, but with the Duchess of Cambridge due to give birth by the end of the week, Kate’s uncle has let slip that he suspects the couple are expecting a little girl…

Speaking to The Mirror, Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith said: “My suspicion is that they’re having a baby girl. But of course, I don’t know that for fact.”

Gary, who is brother to Kate’s mum Carole Middleton, went on to add that despite reports that the royal couple have opted not to find out the gender of their first born child, he suspects Kate and Will do already know the sex of their much-awaited new arrival.

“I believe Kate and William have kept the sex of their child a secret to everyone but themselves”, he said.

31-year-old Kate is due to deliver her baby at St Mary’s hospital in Paddington this week, where the world’s media are currently camped outside, eager to catch a first glimpse of the royal mum-to-be. If it is a girl, she would be named the Princess of Cambridge and would also be in line for the throne now that the law has been changed to give girls equal rights to monarchy for the first time.

It would be brilliant, wouldn’t it, if they do have a little girl?” added Gary. “To have one of my family, my niece, making history will be absolutely unbelievable.”

Well, we’ll soon find out if uncle Gary’s predictions are to be believed. But what do you think Kate and Wills are having?
