Kate Middleton and Prince William have just eight weeks before they become parents to their first baby, and we’ve been so excited about a mini royal, that we’ve almost forgotten about how nervous the new parents must be.
Prince William was talking to mums and their children at the opening of the Help For Heroes Recovery Centre in Tidworth, Hampshire, yesterday – when he discussed his impending new arrival and how he’s a little apprehensive about those night feeds. Bless!
The Prince was given a teddy bear bearing the message “My daddy’s a hero” by a soldier and his young son, when he was asked if he was looking forward to becoming a parent.
He replied: “Very much so,” and then joked: “All the mothers have been looking at me, ‘just you wait, just you wait. Long sleepless nights’.”
Prince William visited the Recovery Centre to meet brave servicemen and women and was joined by his brother Prince Harry, while we’re assuming Kate put her feet up at home.
Not long now!
