Kate Middleton Arrives In Scotland For Royal Baby George’s First Holiday

Kate Middleton and hubby Prince William flew to Scotland yesterday to take royal baby George on his first official holiday to Balmoral to meet his great-grandfather Prince Philip.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted touching town at Aberdeen airport yesterday afternoon with their seven-week-old son in tow before being whisked off to the Queen’s sprawling Scottish estate, where her and Prince Philip have been holidaying since July.

With Philip the last member of the royal family to meet the future King, little Georgie will no doubt be in for a right royal spoiling during his holiday in the Highlands.

“This is an incredible moment for Philip,” a source told The Mirror. “He has been desperate to meet his great grandson and having the family together is really special for him.”

“This has been a very busy time for the Duke and Duchess”, the insider continued. “They have always been determined to introduce George to Philip as soon as possible, but there just hasn’t been the time until now. This will be a very special holiday for them all.”

The family trip comes after Kate and Will spent their first night out together as new parents at the Tusk Trust awards ‘do last week. Leaving baby George at home with nanny Jessie, the couple (very cutely) confessed that their little one wasn’t far from their minds.

Dad Will said during his speech: “This is actually our first evening out without him, so please excuse us if you see us nervously casting cheeky glances at our mobile phones to check all is well back home.”
