Kanye West On His Biggest Regret About Baby Nori

Kanye West came over all emotional on stage during his recent concert in Conneticut when he gave a touching speech about his baby daughter Nori.

In what was a pretty out-of-character move for the notoriously private rapper, Kanye took a moment to reflect on life as a new dad and opened up about his biggest regret. And no, it wasn’t that leather skirt…

Letting his fans witnes a rare moment of vulnerability, Kim Kardashian’s man told the audience: ‘These past ten years have been amazing.’

‘There’s been some ups and downs’, Kanye continued. ‘I made some mistakes and I’ve made some accomplishments. There’s only one thing I regret. There’s only one thing I wish I could change out of everything that’s ever happened. I wish that my mother could’ve met my daughter.’

Kanye lost his mum Donda in 2007 from complications stemming from a plastic surgery procedure, and revealed the true effect of her death during a chat on his future mother-in-law Kris Jenner’s talk show last year.

‘There were times [after my mom’s death], I would put my life at risk. I didn’t have something to live for,’ he said.  ‘Now I have two very special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for.’

We’re so used to Kanyers spouting out ‘profound’ political/fashion statements that sometimes we forget there’s actually a pretty sensitive soul lurking underneath… Aw.
