Jonathan Ross is not happy with Ariana Grande right now.
The TV presenter reportedly had some very strong words for the 22-year-old after she pulled out of a scheduled performance on The Jonathan Ross Show this weekend.
Ariana was due to sing on the chat show on Saturday, which was filmed two days before. But she didn’t turn up to the studio on time. Uh-oh.
It’s thought that she went AWOL while travelling to the ITV building. She’d just left a photoshoot at a nearby Boots store, following a day of on-air interviews.
This meant Jonathan had to tell the audience that there would be no live music for them to watch. And he WASN’T impressed.
According to the Daily Mirror, he started off pretty calm, saying: ‘I don’t know what it is. We are going to give Ariana the benefit of the doubt and not say anything mean or judgmental.
‘I apologise to anyone who might have come along hoping to see her.’
However, he then started ranting: ‘Ariana is in town. We were told she would be in the car at 6pm to be here for 7pm then it got to 7pm and she was not in the car.
‘7.30pm and she is still not in the motherf***ing car. So I don’t think we can hold out much hope. She was booked but the lazy little f***** has not come. Maybe she has gone to her first Nando’s.’ Crikey.
Luckily for the crowd, they did get to enjoy some form of music. Jonathan’s other guests Joan Collins, Danny DeVito and Sheridan Smith banded together for a karaoke rendition of Dolly Parton’s Nine To Five.
Sounds pretty good, if you ask us…
