When the team at John Lewis release their Christmas advert, you know that the festivities are only just around the corner (or, well, six weeks away).
We’re not ashamed to say the unveiling of the high street store’s Christmas ad is firmly marked on our calendars. We’ve been looking forward to this year’s extravagnaza for ages now, and it absoultely does not disappoint.
Not only does it include a soundtrack from Lily Allen – who, you may have noticed, has been away from the music scene for the past three years – but it’s about a cartoon of woodland animals.
Entitled The Bear & The Hare, the advert tells the story of how Hare helps his friend, Bear (it’s not a complex tale) to wake up from his cosy hibernation bed and see Christmas for the first time.
We love that John Lewis has opted for a classic looking cartoon this year, but now all we want to do is cosy up with a cup of tea and watch our favourite Disney movies…
