Poor Chrissy Teigen has had a lot to deal with recently.
Whilst she’s been handling it all like a pro, the star has found herself at the centre of heavy criticism since becoming a new mum. And we have to say, it all seems very unfair.
Chrissy welcomed her first child, daughter Luna Simone, back in April. Almost instantly, she was accused of ‘attention seeking’, all because she posted her first snap with her bubba.
Yup, believe it or not, some of her followers believed that she was trying to draw attention to her ‘assets’.
Um, no guys. We’re certain she was just having a proud mama moment.
Next, the 30-year-old received backlash after taking some well-earned rest, heading out for dinner with husband John Legend.
The Sports Illustrated model was hit with a barrage of criticism over her decision to leave baby Luna at home for the evening, because apparently you’re not allowed to do that after giving birth.
Can you sense our eye roll?
But, have you noticed anything in particular about these comments (aside from the fact that they’re very unfair)?
Why is poor Chrissy getting all of the heat? She’s not the only parent, after all. And it seems that this hasn’t gone unnoticed by John, as he’s now broken his silence to defend his other half.
Taking to Twitter, the new dad wrote, ‘Funny there’s no dad-shaming. When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn’t have to take it all. We’ll split it.’
Talk about the perfect man, right?
What a Legend.
