Jennifer Aniston has just made our Friends fantasies come true by revealing that her and Courteney Cox have been basically living out a real life Rachel and Monica relationship for the past ten years. Ah-mazing.
The much-adored sitcom may have ended back in 2004, but the 44-year-old actress maintains that her and her former Friends co-star are still closer than ever.
‘There’s absolutely no judgment in Court,’ Jen told More magazine about her showbiz BFF. ‘You’ll never feel scolded. She’s extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving.’
Bride-to-be Jennifer, who is set to wed her hot actor fiance Justin Theroux later this year, also admitted that Courteney provided a shoulder – and a sofa – to cry on during her painful divorce from Brad Pitt back in 2005.
‘I’ve slept in her guest bedroom a lot,’ she confessed. ‘Without giving away too much of my private stuff, all I can say is she’s been there for me through thick and thin.’
Though the BFFs teamed up with Chandler… sorry, Matthew Perry, for a scripted skit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last May, a full-blown Friends reunion seems unlikely. Sob.
‘Doing that little bit with Matty and Court yesterday was… We were very nostalgic and miss working together,’ Aniston admitted to Ellen at the time.
‘We miss each other, and it’s a great thing to go back to your family like that.’
You know what would be even greater, JenAn? Friends: The 2014 Edition. Come on people, make it happen.
