There are rumours that Pete Wicks's ex Jacqui Ryland is about to make an appearance on the show...
Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks have been at the centre of most of the TOWIE drama so far this series, and if the latest rumours are true, then we can only see that getting worse.
As you probably know by now, Meg has been left heartbroken by the revelation that her boyfriend had been messaging a number of girls behind her back – most notably, saucy exchanges between himself and his former flame, Jacqui Ryland, found their way onto the internet.
We’ve watched the couple row, cry and grovel (of course, we’re looking at you, Pete) for the past few episodes, but now it appears that Jacqui might be about to make an explosive appearance on the ITVBe show.
A source has reportedly claimed to The Sun Online: ‘ITV bosses are keen to get Jacqui on the show after the sexting drama proved a hit with viewers and saw its highest rated episode for over three series.
‘Bosses are keen to tap into the continued interest in the storyline, it’s real raw emotion and lives involved that has had viewers on the edges of their seats and TOWIE fans want more.’
Of course, we can completely understand why the viewers want to know more about what’s been going on between their favourite The Only Way Is Essex couple, but we can’t help but feel a little sorry for Megan McKenna at the thought of her having to come face-to-face with the ‘other’ girl.
Pete has, naturally, been doing everything he can to try and win back his lady, even chatting with Megan’s mother and father in an attempt to win forgiveness.
The tattooed 28-year-old told Megan: ‘I thought I’d come because I needed to see you, to tell you that I miss you.
‘My life ain’t been the same without you. I miss you sitting on the toilet when I’m in the bath. I miss you dribbling on my chest when you’re sleeping.’
After last night’s show, the former CBB contestant took to Twitter to tell her fans that ‘time will only tell.’
She also shared the cryptic message: ‘These last few months I’ve been learning to surround myself with the people who I think are genuine. Im making my decisions slowly & wisely.’
If Jacqui does come onto the scene, we can’t imagine that things will be plain sailing…
