UPDATE: I’m A Celeb may have kicked off last night – but it’s just revealed that three extra stars are set to join the jungle this week! Yep, Made In Chelsea veteran Spencer Matthews is expected to enter the camp on Wednesday evening’s episode to shake things up. Along with fellow reality TV stars Vicky Pattinson and Ferne McCann. And the similarity doesn’t stop there…these three stars are all free and single. Could another jungle romance be on the cards?
Check out “I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here 2015” contestants they’ll be sleeping alongside…
Duncan Bannatyne OBE
At the fine age of 66, our first campmate is former Dragon’s Den businessmen Duncan Bannatyne. This entrepreneur owns a string of clubs and luxury hotels – which we’re sure he’ll be missing after one night in a hammock. According to the Dragon he has no phobias…you want to test that theory Duncan?
He says: “I have been a big fan for many years. I always watch the show. Two years ago, I thought I would fancy the challenge and I knew I would be up for it. Then my children started saying ‘Dad you should do it, you would be really good’.”
Lady Colin Campbell
Swapping fine dining for a tin of rice and peas is our next contestant, Lady Colin Campbell. Colin, 66, is the first aristocrat to ever enter the jungle (she sounds fancy) we’re not sure how well she’ll cope with eating fish eyes and kangaroo testicles – but hey that’s entertainment…
Lady Campbell says: “I am doing it for selfish reasons. It will help with the roof at the castle and I want to lose weight. I’d actually like to lose a stone if possible.”
80s British icon Tony Hadley, 55, will be entering this years jungle, and we bet he’s going for gold…get it. Former Spadau Ballet singer reckons the jungle will be much tougher then performing to a large group of fans – and he’s probably right, we doubt they ever poured fish guts on your heard mid song.
Tony says: “When you go on stage and you have a set of songs to sing, you know you will be ok,” explains Tony. “But with this, you just don’t know. It is stepping into the unknown.
Television host Yvette fielding will be swapping haunted buildings, for the equally terrifying jungle – surely she can’t be scared of a few bugs? Yvette, 47, admits to being terrified of anything that moves, making her the perfect bush-tucker trial candidate (sorry not sorry).
She said, “I can’t wait to get started. I am used to doing lots of spooky things but I don’t think I have experienced anything quite like this.”
Boxing legend Chris Eubank, 49, will be fighting his way to victory this series. According to the boxer his stint in the jungle will be his first holiday since he was 16 – we’re not sure holiday is the right word to describe what he’s in for…
Chris said: “They approached me some time ago to do this and I said yes for a number of reasons, my wife thought it would be a great challenge for me.”
This lady is not one to shy away from speaking her mind. Susannah Constantine, 53, burst onto our screen years ago with her partner in crime Trinny telling us what not to wear. But the big question we’re asking ourselves is – how doyou wear Jungle clothes fashionably? Is that a thing? We’re sure Susannah will be giving the campmates a few style tips.
Susannah says, “Going on the show is going to be an amazing experience. I want to push myself physically and mentally.”
Dance diva Brian Friedman, 38, has said goodbye to the glamour of X-factor to sweat it out in the jungle. Having worked as the creative director for nine years (wow) he is now looking to start fresh and hoping to try new things.
He said: “Something in me was itching to make a change…I am always preaching to my students to face their fears and the unknown. And now one of those challenges is standing right in front of me.”
Hollyoaks babe Jorgie Porter, 27, will be hotting up the jungle this year (flashback to Myleene Klass in that white bikini). She has promised to pack lots of sexy swimwear outfits…the rise of expected male viewers has definitely risen.
The actress said: “I think I will find lack of food hard. I work long hours on Hollyoaks and I often don’t get a chance to eat properly. But then I get ‘Hangry’ as I put it. I get angry and grumpy because I haven’t eaten.
Persuaded by his kids to enter the jungle, former England player Kieron Dyer, 36, is the eighth campmate on our list.
The footballer said, “I am very competitive. But I am not going on the show for money. My fee is going to a charity. I am doing this show for the charity and my children.” – How sweet!
X-factor cutie George Shelley, 22, is the final campmate to enter the jungle. The Union J singer’s biggest fear is moths, if he’s scared of those winged creatures we’re not sure how well he’ll do with what the jungle has in store.
George said, “I am really excited about being on the show and it actually feels really surreal! I can’t quite believe I am going to be on it.”
