Deborah Lee-Furness, wife of Hollywood Actor Hugh Jackman, is causing a bit of a storm at the moment thanks to some comments that might make the next Oscars red carpet slightly awkward.
The 59-year-old who has been married to Hugh for 19 years, made a shocking admission in a TV interview, revealing that she had vetoed the actor working with Angelina Jolie.
Deborah was being interviewed alongside husband Hugh at their Adopt Change fundraiser in Melbourne, and when asked by the US Today host about who she would prefer her husband not to star alongside, she replied: ‘I’ve told his agent he’s not allowed to work with Angeline [Jolie].”
She laughed off the comments with Hugh, but then added, ‘I’m sure she’s very nice and I love what she’s doing – shining a light on awareness for adoption… Just kidding”
In the interview, Hugh, 46, also revealed the secret to their long showbiz marriage: ‘Deb had a rule, never apart for more than two weeks,’ the Wolverine star revealed. “We’ve managed to keep that.”
Super cute. We just hope that Angelina’s in on the joke, guys.
