The This Morning presenter was accused of 'bragging' after sharing a snap of little Belle's designer sneakers...
We all know Holly Willoughby is one of the most popular ladies in the biz.
But even she isn’t immune to the odd bit of criticism. And unfortunately for the 35-year-old, that criticism came over the weekend.
Holly had taken to Instagram to share a comparison shot between her five-year-old daughter Belle and Beyoncé’s four-year-old Blue Ivy.
Turns out, Belle is the proud owner of the same trainers Blue wore to the MTV VMAs on Sunday night. Pretty cool, right?!
She’d captioned the image: ‘Blue Ivy going to the VMA’s… Belle going to a birthday party at the farm! #giuseppezanotti @giuseppezanottidesign ??? [sic].’
However, some of Holly’s followers ended up accusing her of bragging, due to the fact that the sneakers cost an eye-popping £400.
One wrote: ‘Don’t show off with ridiculously over priced trainers holly… For a child as well, who will grow out of them in weeks and scuff them in seconds…. Bragging wasn’t something I had you down for… [sic].’
Another said: ‘She’s loaded and doesn’t live in the real world. Like Beyoncé and her offspring.’
Hmm. Luckily for Holly – who’s also mum to sons Harry, seven, and one-year-old Chester – she also received plenty of support from fans.
Kinder comments include: ‘Are you all being serious?!!! Who are you to judge another mother for what she spends or doesn’t spend on her child!’ and: ‘Jealous mums make me laugh! I can’t afford these shoes but if I could and my daughter wanted them then so be it! How holly chooses to dress her child isn’t any of your business! [sic].’
We’re inclined to agree with that one. You keep doing you, lady.
