Holly's conversation about the Girls Aloud singer follows speculation that she's expecting another child of her own...
So basically, the entire nation is utterly over the moon for Cheryl and Liam Payne RN – and it looks like Holly Willoughby is no exception.
Cheryl took to Instagram on Saturday to share with her 3.2million followers that she and her man had welcomed their first son into the world.
The 33-year-old wrote: ‘On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream.’
Since the fabulous announcement, countless celebrities have taken to social media to congratulate the couple on their new arrival.
The latest famous face to chip in is Holly Willoughby, who shared her thoughts while presenting This Morning today.
Holly – who herself is a mother of three – said on air: ‘Congratulations you two, it’s such lovely news! Such special moments!’
We’re sure Holly is doubly thrilled about the arrival of Cheryl and Liam Jr., as she recently revealed that she’s hoping they’ll bring him on Celebrity Juice.
She told new!: ‘It would be nice if Cheryl and Liam Payne would come on and bring in their new baby!’ We’re not sure if Chiam will be up for it, but it would be amazing…
Holly has actually been the subject of a few baby rumours herself recently, with fans speculating that she and her husband Dan Baldwin could be planning on introducing a fourth member to their brood.
Why’s this? Well, last month, the 36-year-old appeared to refuse cheese during a cooking segment on This Morning.
This left some viewers suspicious, due to the fact that mould-ripened cheeses – such as Brie and Camembert – aren’t recommended for pregnant women.
Then, during a piece about the risk of contracting the Zika virus on holiday, resident travel expert Simon Calder explained: ‘Zika is a nasty, mosquito-born disease. For people like me and Phillip [Schofield] it doesn’t matter at all – we might feel lousy for a few days.
‘But anyone who is pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant it can be quite serious.’
Of course, Simon probably just meant that neither he nor Phillip ever would ever be pregnant or planning to become so, being men and everything.
But others took his omission of Holly’s name to mean something quite different.
One viewer Tweeted: ‘#ThisMorning @thismorning ‘me and Phil are okay, but people who are pregnant or trying’ Holly?🙈😂, while another wrote: ‘Didn’t include Holly in his comment about Zika but said it affects people who are pregnant or thinking of getting pregnant #ThisMorning.’
Hmm, another baby for Holly? We think we’ll wait for her to speak out on that one, but it would be wonderful news.
In the meantime, let’s continue to congratulate Chiam. Best wishes to you both!
