The 24-year-old announced that she'd left the MTV show last night
Holly Hagan has confirmed that she’s quit Geordie Shore. Noooo.
The 24-year-old released an emotional Instagram statement as her last episode of the MTV show aired yesterday, and it’s safe to say it left fans devastated.
She wrote: ‘Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s been involved in my Geordie shore journey for the past 6 years!
‘Considering I thought I was going to get p***ed for 6 weeks and thought I’d be going back to the call centre this has changed my life and I’ll forever be grateful.
‘I’d been considering leaving for a very long time and it wasn’t a split second decision as it may look on tv.
‘I’ve not had one single regret since leaving but that’s not to say I won’t miss every single one of that f***ed up family. My brothers and sisters forever ❤️.
‘I’m so proud and honoured to have been a part of MTVs highest rating show and I have memories that no1 can replace.
‘I hope everyone continues to support Geordie shore. Thank you everyone for being a part of this incredible journey ❤️ [sic].’
Of course, viewers were quick to comment on her sad announcement.
Replies included: ‘We are going to miss u Holly it isn’t going to be the same without you,’ and: ‘Aw gonna miss u Holly but understand you’d have to move on eventually xxx [sic].’
However, there had already been hints that Holly was about to pack her bags. In a teaser for last night’s show, she was seen breaking the news to her co-stars.
And TBH, we’d had our suspicions since BFF Charlotte Crosby left earlier this year.
We’re going to miss you, lady! But we’re already excited to see what you do next.
