The ex-Coronation Street actress chatted to the panel about her daughter Matilda...
Helen Flanagan certainly won viewers over on Loose Women yesterday.
The ex-Coronation Street actress appeared on the show to chat about motherhood, 13 months after giving birth to her and boyfriend Scott Sinclair’s daughter Matilda.
She told the panel that she’s ‘in her element’ being a parent, admitting: ‘Before I was a bit lost and now I have got Matilda she has really completed me.
‘She has made me so much happier. It gives you so much perspective. It changes your priorities and you realise what’s important but I am completely besotted with her.’
Chatting about whether she’d ever return to Corrie as Rosie Webster, Helen continued: ‘I would love to go back but just for a few episodes. I wouldn’t want to do anything permanent because I would miss Matilda too much, but it is good to do something for yourself. It’s nice.’
Aw. Seems she really is a doting mama, huh?! But while she doesn’t like to be away from Matilda for too long, she did praise her and Scott’s mothers for helping them out from time-to-time.
The 25-year-old said: ‘I’m lucky to get that support. I still get a night out once a month if I want to.’
If you’re not a Corrie fan, you’ll probably remember Helen more from her stint in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle back in 2012.
Viewers couldn’t help noting how much she seemed to have changed since her reality TV days, with one Tweeting: ‘Actually pleasantly surprised with Helen Flanagan on #LooseWomen motherhood seems to have done her the world of good…’
Another wrote: ‘Ah @helenflanagan1 is looking so calm, radiant and at peace on @loosewomen. #Motherhood definitely suits her.’
We totally agree, lady!
