There may a few teens failing their exams this summer...
It’s happened, people! Harry Styles has OFFICIALLY dropped his debut album.
Not only that, but the 23-year-old appeared on Radio 1’s Breakfast Show this morning to play us some of the tracks. Yep, fans were just a teeny bit excited.
Tweets included: ‘@Harry_Styles i truly couldn’t possibly be more proud of you i love you so so much,’ ‘Don’t @ me, but one direction splitting up did Harry Styles gooood, i love what this boy created,’ and: ‘It’s everything I wanted. #HarryStylesListeningParty [sic].’
The hashtag #HarryStylesListeningParty also trended worldwide. Not bad, eh?
But not everyone was particularly happy with the timing of Hazza’s release, especially considering the fact that his bandmates Liam Payne and Niall Horan have also just gone solo.
Host Nick Grimshaw read out a message from a Directioner complaining that the influx of new 1D material could led to her failing her GCSEs. LOLz. And over on Twitter, there was more of the same.
One teen wrote: ‘I failed my math exam because I listened Sweet Creature and I didn’t study 😭 #HarryStylesListeningParty,’ and: ‘HARRY EDWARD STYLES IF I FAIL MY EXAM ON SUNDAY ITS STILL ON YOU #HarryStylesListeningParty [sic].’
We’re just hoping these devotees listen to Harry’s advice – he told the on-air fan that revising was her ‘responsibility’. Very sensible, Hazza.
