Gogglebox Stars In *Big* Trouble Over ISIS Joke Gone Wrong…

Gogglebox favourites, the Siddiqui brothers, have got themselves in quite a bit of hot water after *this* joke went horribly wrong…

The Siddiqui brothers of Gogglebox have landed themselves in quite a bit of hot water- after an ISIS joke on Facebook went very, very wrong.

So heres what happened: a recent post uploaded to Facebook by Raza Siddiqui, who has featured briefly in Gogglebox, shows himself and his well known brothers Baasit and Umar (who are regular features on the Channel Four show) posing in all-camo outfits about to go paint balling.

So far, nothing much to write home about. Right? Right.

However, Raza decided to caption the snap ‘ISIS training day, look how happy we look!’. Ah…

And sure enough, not *everyone* saw the funny side of the joke- and it’s now being reported that the brothers have actually been visited ‘more than once’ by the police over concerned reports.

As reported by The Sun, a Facebook friend of Raza’s decided to report the post to the police after becoming concerned over people joining in with the joke- with one pal allegedly posting a picture of an ISIS terrorist carrying a gun.

The Facebook friend has shared with The Sun- ‘When you are in the media, you have a responsibility. His friends were liking and loving it. You don’t know if any of those people are genuinely ISIS supporters’.

According to the report, the Derbyshire Police have visited the brothers and are ‘now satisfied there was no terror link but would be offering suitable words of advice’. The force have shared that ‘No offences have been committed and there will be no further police action’. Phew, what stress.

But hey, we’ve all been there with the dodgy social media uploads, right?!…Take, for example, near-enough any of our Facebook uploads circa 2009.

Maybe just stick to these types of posts next time, boys…
