After her split from professional Giovanni, the ex-Coronation Street actress has sent him and his new dance partner her best wishes...
Georgia May Foote wants everyone to know that she’s not worried about her ex Giovanni Pernice’s new Strictly Come Dancing partner.
Giovanni, 25, was paired up with TV presenter Laura Whitmore on Saturday night’s show, which some thought Georgia would be upset about.
See, Georgia and Giovanni met on the programme last year, and only announced their split last month.
At the time, the ex-Coronation Street actress shared the statement: ‘It is with great sadness we have decided to split up. There is nobody else involved.
‘Although it was not an easy decision to make sometimes you realise that it is better to be friends and this is one of those times.
‘We both have very busy work schedules for the rest of the year so we are both going to focus on our upcoming work projects and we wish each other well in the future.’
However, the 25-year-old has since reassured fans that she’s fine with the pairing.
On Saturday, she sent the supportive Tweet: ‘Good luck to all the @bbcstrictly 2016 cast and crew on their launch show tonight! Sending all my love! Im sure its going to be incredible ❤ [sic].’
She then wrote: ‘And i would just like to wish @thewhitmore and @pernicegiovann1 good luck. Please do not believe the crap you read! Shes a beautiful person [sic].’
Georgia and Laura are actually pals, enjoying a girls’ night out with Caroline Flack and Ashley Roberts last week.
Happily, it doesn’t seem as though this will be changing anytime soon, with Georgia sending Laura the personal message: ‘@thewhitmore and has all my support! Good luck.’
Laura, 31, responded: ‘@georgiafoote thanks lovely! Good Luck with @tiffanysonstage you’ll be brilliant!❤️x,’ referring to Georgia’s new role in musical Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
And just to prove that things are A-okay between her and Giovanni, Georgia sent him a sweet birthday Tweet this morning.
She said: ‘Happy birthday @pernicegiovann1 ? x,’ to which he replied: ‘@georgiafoote thank you!!’
Aw. Classy, eh?
