Gary Barlow Storms Off The X Factor As Carolynne Poole Is Voted Off

Gary Barlow stormed off The X Factor last night in a tense deadlock scenario which saw his first act – Carolynne Poole – voted off.

The four judges had us on the edge of our sofas as Louis Walsh struggled to make a decision on who should leave after a sing-off between Carolynne and Nicole Scherzinger‘s act, Rylan Clark.

Encouraged by a very impatient Dermot O’Leary, Louis Walsh crumbled under the pressure, making it very difficult to understand who he’d really picked. He started off by saying: “I want to save Carolynne” – which left the 32-year-old country singer sighing with relief – but then suddenly he backtracked saying: “But I want to save Rylan, too”. He chose to let a deadlock decide, which saw Carolynne leave the competition for having the least number of public votes.

Gary Barlow, who’s made it clear he’s no fan of Rylan’s, was so angry without the decision that he stormed off the live show in protest!

Aww, Gary – come here, we’ll give you and your fit beard a hug… RM
