Frozen’s Anna Leaves A Message For A Young Girl With Cancer

Kristen Bell, who owns the voice to the loveable Frozen character Princess Anna, has just done something extra special. And seriously heart-warming.

The 6-year-old girl at the receiving end of this magical moment is named Avery. She has an inoperable brain tumour, and her father, named Brandon, has been documenting her journey through the blog Caring Bridge.

Kristen arranged a very special surprise voicemal message for Avery, who is a young Disney fan, and the video – which was posted online – quickly went viral, with over 2 million views at last count.

Watching little Avery’s face light up at the sound of Princess Anna’s voice is truly moving. And we have to applaud Kristen for taking the time to do something so thoughtful.

Anna told Avery that she and Elsa had named her an honorary Princess of Arendelle, the kingdom where the Frozen movie is set, as a treat for being so brave.

Avery’s dad wrote: “I’ll admit, I’ve watched the video around 50 times, just to watch her face light up, and to hear her giggle and see her smile.

“Seeing it go viral and so many people sharing the same emotions I have when I watch it, I’m constantly reminded that while Avery is going through the worst possible fight anyone should have to, she’s touching so many people’s hearts and her fight and toughness is reaching so many people.

“I shouldn’t be surprised, though, because she’s been touching her mum and I’s hearts since they day she was born.”

Kristen did a shout-out for a few of Avery’s loved ones, and then ended the call by saying: “I’ve got to go build a snowman with my friend Olaf now.”

Such a touching tale.

We’re thinking of you, Princess Avery.
