Pregnant Frankie Sandford braved the sweltering 29C heat at the weekend to perform on stage with her The Saturdays bandmates at the Barclaycard British Summer Time festival in London’s Hyde Park.
It may have been the hottest day of the year, but Frankie, who is six-months-pregnant with her and fiancé Wayne Bridge‘s first child, kept her blossoming baby bump stylishly covered in a loose black chiffon dip hem dress, a black and orange zip biker jacket and quilted shoe boots.
As the 24-year-old mum-to-be put her all into the band’s gruelling dance routine for new single Gentleman, which has just reached No.14 in the UK charts, bandmate Rochelle Humes praised her pregnant friend’s impressive on-stage efforts.
“Give it up for Frankie, she’s heavily pregnant and really struggling in the heat!” Rochelle shouted to the crowd, adding: “She’s wearing all black and the highest heels out of all of us.”
“I’m not ready to give up the heels just yet”, Frankie retorted. Now that’s dedication!
Bandmate Mollie King has also been looking out for Frankie during her pregnancy – she hit out at the Twitter trolls who have been targeting Frankie’s changing body shape last week.
We love seeing the girls rallying together to support Franks. If there’s one band who know how to do sisterly solidarity, it’s The Saturdays…
