Isabel Marant for H&M has got to be one of the most highly-anticipated designer collaborations yet, and now the high-street giant has released a sneak first peek of the new collection on Twitter, modelled by Marant herself!
Spreading ripples of excitement throughout the fashionsphere, the preview snap shared by H&M to their followers shows Isabel wearing a look from the new range, made up of a loose-fit printed dress and slouchy black fringe ankle boots. “H&M followers, you’re the first ever to see
@isabelmarant wearing the #HMIsabelMarant collection! What do you think?” wrote H&M alongside the image.
Marant has previously said of the new collection: “I am creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian. You dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude.”
The full Isabel Marant for H&M range – which will feature both clothing and accessories for men and women – is due to arrive in stores on November 14. The French designer will be following in the footsteps of fellow fashion heavyweights Versace, Marni, Lanvin and Stella McCartney, who have all teamed up with the high-street store.
We’re booking the morning off work to queue already.
