A representative for the TV personality has reportedly confirmed that she's expecting her first child...
Ferne McCann appears to have now confirmed the news of her pregnancy, which was first reported over the weekend.
The former TOWIE star has been having a really tough time of it over the past week, following the news that her now-ex boyfriend Arthur Collins was wanted by police in connection with the horrific acid attack that took place in Mangle nightclub in East London over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
After reports emerged speculating about whether Ferne might be ‘pregnant’, she now seems to have spoken out to confirm the news.
A representative for the star has reportedly told OK! Online: ‘Ferne is grateful for the sympathetic way news of her pregnancy has been covered and people’s support and obviously her first concern is for her child’s health.
‘Accordingly she does not wish to discuss the pregnancy further given the early stage it is at and the immense strain that Ferne is currently under.’
The statement, published on OK!, continued: ‘Nor does she wish to discuss her ex-boyfriend who she does not recognise from the events of the last week.
‘Ferne is in no way seeking sympathy for her situation and is determined to do all she can to have a happy and heathy child and face the challenges of being a single parent with all her energy.
‘Her thoughts are with the victims of the horrific attack on Easter Monday.’
Reports have now confirmed that Arthur has been arrested, with a Metropolitan Police statement saying: ‘Arthur Collins, 25, was arrested at an address in Rushden, Northants on Saturday night, 22 April by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime & Operations and Hackney Borough, with the assistance of armed officers from the East Midlands Operational Support Service (EMOpSS) and Northamptonshire Police.’
