Fans Are Really Upset About Daisy Lowe’s Strictly Come Dancing Exit

Many fans feel Daisy Lowe was 'robbed' of her place in the Strictly Come Dancing competition after this happened last night...

Oh, Miss Daisy Lowe. Never have excessive amounts of sequins looked better!

And, sadly, this weekend saw the model take her final twirl on the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor- having been booted off the show a week before the Strictly Blackpool Tower Ballroom special.

Daisy found herself in the bottom two with dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec on Sunday’s elimination, after the pair failed to win over the public with their Saturday night salsa to Groove Is In The Heart.

After competing against her fellow Strictly contestant, Olympian Greg Rutherford, Daisy was sadly unable to shimmy her way out the bottom two for a third time- with three of the judges voting for Greg to stay in the competition.

Speaking to Strictly host Tess Daly, Daisy shared that her time on the ballroom dance floor had been ‘the sparkliest, most overwhelming, joyful experience I’ve ever had’.

The 27-year-old then added, ‘I’ve met people I will have in my life forever and it’s taught me so much more than I ever expected about myself and about my confidence’ before thanking all the members of the team and her dance partner, Aljaz.

Since her departure, Daisy has taken to Twitter to bid a final farewell to spending her weekends covered in glitter- writing, ‘What an honour to dance with you AljazSkorjanec & for everyone @bbcstrictly and everyone watching, voting and dancing along. THANK YOU’ [sic].

Greg has also taken to Twitter to share his thoughts on the dance-off, and it’s all very emotional…

However, fans have been very upset by Daisy’s departure- with many viewers taking to social media to share they felt she was ‘robbed’ of her place in the competition.

In fact, many have felt that it should have been politician Ed Balls’ week to leave after he danced the Gangnam Style.

One viewer shares, ‘It should have been @edballs going out rather than @daisylowe. It is supposed to be a dance competition after all’.

Come on guys, we happened to love Ed’s entertaining offering too.

But we’re really sad to see ya go, Daisy!

Here’s hoping you’ll make a return for the Strictly Christmas special…. *hint hint*
