Beyoncé‘s tour wardrobe has had us obsessed ever since she kicked off her mammoth Mrs Carter World Tour at the end of last year.
Between the Tom Ford sequin dresses and the insanely sexy Versace bodysuits, it’s been a sequin-clad stage spectacle from day one. And now, Bey’s incredible stylist is about to let you in on just how much work goes into creating the Queen’s epic tour ‘drobe.
In a brand new behind-the-scenes video, longtime pal and personal dresser Ty Hunter and wardrobe stylist Racquel Smith speak to the camera about each individual piece we’ve see the superstar lady rocking on stage.
‘When Beyoncé wants a new wardrobe, Ty and I reach out to different designers’, Rachel explains. ‘Once they submit the sketches we go through each sketch and select the ones we think will be appropriate for her. It has to be stage appropriate as she has to be able to dance.’
Viewers also see the pair discuss a Versace dress took 300 hours to make, as well as the other ah-mazing designers who got on board to dress Blue Ivy’s gorgeous mum.
‘We’ve really had a lot of groundbreaking moments together and people look to her for trends so you want to play around and not do what everyone else is doing’, Ty finished.
