Beyonce and Jay Z will perform together at Sunday night's Grammys

Beyoncé Just Made The Grammys Even More Exciting…

Beyoncé and Jay Z will perform together at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards. Hurrah! The hip-hop royals’ stage presence was confirmed in a commercial for the ceremony in the US, according to, and has got everyone talking about what they might have planned for their epic set.

Mum-of-one Beyoncé has a habit of stealing the spotlight at big shows, you see. Back in 2009, she made headlines when she came to Taylor Swift‘s rescue after *that* fail on Kanye West‘s part. Shortly after the rapper interrupted poor Taylor’s acceptance speech with a rant about who should have really won, Queen Bey gave Taylor her moment in the spotlight, inviting her on stage to say her thank yous.

Then, of course, at the MTV VMAs in 2011, she rubbed her belly and gestured to the audience, confirming she was indeed expecting her first baby.

Oh, and who can forget the Super Bowl, when Beyoncé reunited with her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for the most awesome Queen Bey performance in TV history? Oh yes.

Then there was last summer’s V Festival, when she chopped off her locks to reveal the hottest haircut of 2013.

For this year’s Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will take to the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, along with Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, Daft Punk and Paul McCartney. But we’ve no doubt that it’ll be Beyoncé and Jay Z’s performance that we’ll all be obsessing over come Monday morning.

What have you got up your sparkly sleeves this time, Bey?
